| Sri Krishna tells Arjun in Chapter 11 Shloka 33 of Bhagwad Geeta that I have already finished the foe and you can therefore become only an instrument. |
| Similarly we believe that Gram Oorja is an instrument: |
- We believe that energy is an instrument for people to live wholesome and uplifting lives.

- Energy is already there - in the flowing water, the shining sun, the blowing wind and the biomass. All that is needed is an instrument for conversion into usable energy.
